OUR Process

StoryTelling

& Content

Stage 1 Discovery

The first step to creating your deck is a discovery and onboarding session between us and the founder team. During this session, we will ask a number of prepared questions in order to understand your startup or fund and record all the information we will need to prepare a successful deck.

Stage 2 STORYTELLING & CONTENT

Next, we will work on a first draft of your deck in an unbranded wireframe format. This draft will demonstrate the deck structure and storytelling, but might be a bit fuzzy on some of the details such as traction figures and use of funds. At this stage, we just want to get the story and key wording right before moving onto the details. We will present this to the founders and work with them over up to two rounds of iteration to get the messaging right where we want it.

Stage 3 FINALISING THE DATA

The last thing to do is to finalise all the details and ensure that all data and figures are correct and up to date. At this stage, we will create a list of data and numbers that need to be cross-checked or provided (also includes x2 revisions).

PROCESS

Stage 1 Locking in a design style

Our creative team will design 6 selected slides from the deck and we will submit those designs for feedback and approval. At this stage, we can use two rounds of iteration to align on the style, including layouts, use of fonts and colours, imagery, and icons.

Stage 2 Designing the rest of the deck

Once we are aligned on a design style, we will then apply that to all the remaining slides in the deck. At this stage, we allow for two more rounds of feedback and iteration should there be any small requested changes.

Stage 3 Outputting the deck in an editable format

We output the document in an editable format so that you can continue to tweak and update your deck as needed in the future. We support outputs in PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Keynote.
